Career Highlights

Denis Potvin has accumulated many courtroom hours as a successful commercial and civil litigator.  Prior to joining the firm, Denis managed an insurance defense docket including personal injury, premises liability, and intellectual property suits. Denis is proficient at handling business disputes, corporate, commercial, and employment law. Denis earned his Juris Doctorate in 2010 from Mississippi College School of Law after graduating cum laude from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Concentration

Denis is an expert in ad valorem tax litigation specializing in advising and defending governmental clients. He represents clients in matters and interests regarding property tax, ensuring that statutes and laws are applied correctly, fairly, and consistently. He works closely with commercial and industrial property owners in resolving disputes concerning tax valuation. He also works with single and multi-family residential communities regarding tax exemption matters such as homestead and agricultural circumstances.
